Senior Education Support Officer

Post-16 Children and Young People in Care and Care Leavers

Salary - £33,945 to £38,223 per annum (Grade 6)

Hours - 37 hours per week

Contract Type - Fixed term for 1 year in the first instance

Wolverhampton Virtual School Team, as part of the Children and Young People in Care Service, is looking to appoint a Senior Education Support Officer for Children and Young People in Care and Care Leavers at post-16.

We are seeking a dynamic, creative and proactive professional with the skills and commitment to improve the educational progress and achievement of young people in this cohort, with a particular focus on years 12 and 13, and on improving personal educational planning through post-16 PEPs.
