Job Summary:
• Assisting in the application of the New Roads and Streetworks Act 1991 (NRSWA) as amended by the Traffic Management Act 2004 (TMA) and the Southeast Permit Scheme (SEPS) within Slough Borough.
• Carrying out timely and accurate street works / permit inspections and assist in co-ordination and monitoring of street and road works through the SEPS, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of traffic in the borough.
• Dealing with enquiries and complaints from the public, members, and utility representatives.
• Assisting in the enforcement of highway law.

Key Duties/Accountabilities:
• To provide inspection and coordination services to facilitate greater control of all works activities on the road network to minimise disruption, and to help in maintaining the expeditious movement of traffic on the network.
