Westwood Recruitment are on the lookout for a Production Planner to join our client on a permanent basis in Bredbury with an immediate start available. For this role, you will join a busy team creating and assisting with allocations and job card routings throughout the various levels of manufacture.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop route cards, collaborating closely with the programming department, to devise the most cost-effective and efficient manufacturing methods.
• Ensure timely dissemination of all necessary documentation to the shop floor through work to lists.
• Collaborate with Stores/Goods Inwards to guarantee the availability of materials and kits required for manufacturing and assembly.
• Manage rework operations resulting from NCRs, adjusting route sheets as necessary.
• Contribute to Pre-production Meetings to identify and implement optimal manufacturing approaches.
• Support the Production Scheduler in effectively loading each work centre.
