The Client-

A stunning 130+ care village with a quality new restaurant on site are currently looking to recruit their Sous Chef

The role will benefit from 10-5pm working hours Sunday - Thursday. Fridays and Saturday working to 8pm as the latest Finish. The menus will be seasonal and high quality offering a brunch/ lunch and high tea option on a daily basis..

The Role

As Sous Chef...

The role will involve supporting the Chef aswell as kitchen assistant

To supervise the smooth running of the kitchen in the absence of the Chef Manager

To prepare and cook food for presentation to the service users

To assist the Chef Manager in the planning of menus to achieve and maintain budgeted food cost.

To carry out stocktaking and food rotation procedures under the instruction of the Chef Manager

To comply with statutory regulations concerning food hygiene, COSHH and Health and Safety at Work.
