• Organize the workshop and keep tidy. Manage a system of replacing tools, equipment etc. Implement systems for signing out equipment, stock take and keeping up tp date with health and safety requirements.
• Plan and organize daily preventive maintenance systems: Servicing (record keeping) maintenance e.g. oil and water checks, battery water checks, feed out trailers, fix punctures or organize for them to be fixed.
• *Preventative maintenance on equipment in the feed mill, ability to repair augers and conveyers.

Experience with repairs and maintenance on tractors, vehicles, spray implements and general farming equipment.

Check on all work done by tractors eg: Feeding (food for different groups of cattle), wrapping, fertilizing, planting of rye and maize, spraying of maize, fire breaks (work with staff to show you the boundaries etc – communicating with management and coming up with solutions to any problems experienced)i.e. slurry spreading and irrigation.
