Role And Responsibility

Research, design, develop and commission Solenis Technology’s products and maintain and upkeep technical and manufacturing records on Achiever data base and any other duties within reason required by management.

Principal Accountabilities / Key Performance Areas

Research, design and develop new speciality chemicals for the pulp and paper industries. Reformulate to optimise existing products for manufacturing ease and market competitiveness in efficacy and profit margins. Commission new products on manufacturing plants at Chloorkop. Launch/update product, raw material, technical & manufacturing data in Syspro System.

Job Function

Research and Development
• Source and review relevant literature.

Prepare formulations - Optimize, if possible, around available plant equipment.
• Cost material and equipment requirements.
• Prepare Product Technical Data Sheet and MSDS.
