Our well known client based in Dumfries are looking for a second chef to join their team on a temporary adhoc basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who is flexible between full time and part time work as we cannot always guarantee hours however a permanent contract may be possible for the right candidate.

This contract is initially working for the next 2/3 weeks, Wednesday - Sunday however when there is adhoc work you could any day out of the 7, £16 during the weekdays and £18 for weekend.

What you will be doing as a Second Chef?
• Prepare fresh ingredients
• Prepare hot and cold food orders to order
• Monitor stock levels and contribute towards the ordering process
• Work efficiently to ensure low levels of waste
• Carry out cleaning of equipment and working areas to the highest food hygiene standards
• Close down kitchen each day including preparation for the following day.
