Power Earthing Measurement Technician

RINA is currently recruiting for a Power Earthing Measurement Technician to join its office in Diss, Norfolk within the Power Division.

Overview:

The Earthing Technician works within the Power / Earthing & Lightning Protection Unit and reports to the Head of Earthing & Lightning Protection. The purpose of the role is to support the E&LP team in servicing their client base, providing solutions to earthing & lightning protection projects across diverse sectors. The role will be based at the Diss Office and will involve frequent travel to client substation locations UK Wide as well as equipment maintenance and site team support functions from the office / workshop.

Responsibilities

Site Measurements (Approximately 50% of Time)
• Assisting with site based electrical testing of earthing systems at substations, power stations, renewable energy projects, etc.
• Site based electrical soil resistivity surveys for new and existing high voltage installations.
