Job Details:

Position: Oncology Pharmacist – Locum

Duration: 6 – 12 month contract

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (30 mins lunch); part-time working days may also be considered

Responsibilities: As a specialist Oncology Pharmacist, you’ll be an integral part of the cancer center team, supporting ward teams, office-based teams, and nurses. Key responsibilities include:
• Checking orders for Oncology drugs
• Verifying Oncology prescriptions
• Releasing Oncology prescriptions
• Ensuring correct dispensing of Oncology drugs
• Medicines reconciliation and drug chart screening
• Providing advice to patients on drug histories and medication
• Minimal screening in the dispensary, for inpatients and outpatients
