The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) in city of Sønderborg is home to the dynamic Centre for Industrial Mechanics, an integral part of the Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. We invite applications for a 3-year fully funded PhD position in numerical modeling of the metal additive manufacturing with the focus on the laser powder bed fusion process.

The starting date for this position is flexible, with a preference for 1 September 2024 (or as soon as possible thereafter).
