Introduction

Murray & Roberts Cementation invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Artisan Rigger to be placed at Ivan PlatsPlatreef Mine, in Mokopane, Limpopo. The successful candidate will report to the Engineering Foreman.
The company will provide remuneration and benefits relevant and appropriate to the position. Preference will be given to Historically Disadvantaged South African (HDSA) candidates.

Duties & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:

· Engineering installations are constructed according to agreed standards, procedures and specifications

· Plan and execute a rigging equipment maintenance schedule according to OEM specifications and company standards

· Identify coil and inspect ropes

· Protect ropes using various techniques
