East Coast Oncology, a Private Oncology Centre on the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal is looking for a Sessional Medical Officer for a limited duration to manage patients in its Oncology Practice in Athlone Park.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
• Communication with referring doctors.
• Consulting patients and managing emergencies under the direct guidance of the senior oncologist.
• Daily Ward rounds in Durban and Amanzimtoti if the need arises.
• Reviewing and acting on abnormal blood - & radiology results in conjunction with the senior oncologist.
• Attendance to relevant clinical administrative duties including preparing and writing various reports; proper and accurate record keeping as legally and ethically required.
