Duties * Inspect or survey workplaces, processes or products for compliance with established safety and occupational health policies or standards. * Assist in the evaluation of work operations to quantify hazardous exposures using methods such as collecting noise data, air samples and ventilation measurements. * Assist in the design or modification of workplaces, processes or products to control or eliminate hazards. * Assist in the development of safety and occupational health standards to reduce the frequency, severity and cost of accidents and occupational illnesses. * Assist in the training of workers, supervisors, managers, or other safety and occupational health personnel in safety or occupational health subjects.
