Job Description

Based at our production site in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, we are actively looking for an R&D chemist with experience in formulating and ideally in decorative coatings as well to join our team in the lab.

Responsibilities
• Development of new products/formulations,
• Reformulation of existing products,
• Evaluation and approval of alternative raw materials,
• Evaluation of competitive products,
• Provision of support to the QA and Consumer Services Departments,
• Progress new product development projects,
• Undertake reformulation projects and evaluate alternative raw materials to meet:
• Support scale up of laboratory produced formulations through to production
• Conduct product performance evaluations
• Conduct general laboratory/equipment maintenance and ordering of consumables
• Provision of support to the Consumer Services Department at times of high workload
