POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Director, Project Services, the Senior Project Development Specialist is primarily accountable for assisting Port tenants, industrial partners and other project proponents in regards to projects within Port lands and waters, while ensuring that these projects align with the Ports interests and strategic direction.

To that end, the Senior Project Development Specialist will liaise with these parties and assist them with their project development and execution, helping them identify obstacles and constraints and assist proponents with addressing them.

The Senior Project Development Specialist will also review proponent’s project plans to ensure they do not conflict with the Port’s land use plans and other commercial and/or strategic interests.
