Production Officer

The Production Officer will primarily coordinate on-farm production, purchasing, sourcing, and distribution activities of products and services

Description:

•Coordinate all field activities and ensure compliance with guidelines, best practices, and standards. •Facilitate and execute all farm training and farm set up services

•Review and update production and supply operations to reflect new or changing market standards, policies, and conditions.

•Conduct evaluations and monitor progress at all seed production locations.

•Ensure own fields meet the requirements of the National Agricultural Seeds Council (NASC).

Desired Skills:

•Postgraduate degree in agriculture, agronomy, or any related field.

•Minimum of three (3) years related experience in plant breeding and genetics, seed technology and in the design and delivery of agricultural training.

•Proven knowledge of seed production standards.

•Demonstrable expertise in agronomic practices.
