Work a fixed shift and earn a fixed amount of money supporting local elderly people. What is a Guaranteed Shift? Guaranteed shifts take away uncertainty around earnings usually present in Community Care due to unpaid time spent traveling between clients or gaps in the rota. You are paid a set amount per shift regardless of how much time is spent assisting clients, driving or on a break/gap. The Role Our Care and Support Companions typically spend 1 hour visiting each of our private clients who range from their early 60’s up to 102 years old and live in their own homes across Amersgam, Wycombe, Beaconsfield, Chalfont, Holmer Green and surrounding areas. Duties differ from visit to visit. Many clients just need a little help getting their meals prepared or keeping on top of basic housework, gardening or going to the shops.
