Personal Assistant required for an autistic ten old boy with sensory needs who lives in the Camborne and Redruth area.

He would like someone who he can build up a positive relationship with and provide him with some 1:1 support. He does have some behaviours that may challenge.

A personal assistant would allow him to engage in activities with a trusted adult, outside of his school and family life.

He likes being outdoors, especially the beach, and when inside he likes Science experiments, Lego, gaming, Marvel & DC books and films.

He is very creative and has a great imagination.

Rate of pay is £12.00 per hour plus expenses.

Six hours per week are available, although this is very flexible. Some evening, weekend and school holiday availability will be required.

Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people with special educational needs is essential.
