A vacancy for a competent Fleet Controller in a Road Freight and Logistics Transport company
Passion for the transport industry required
Longhaul or tipper experience preferred

Job seniority: mid-to-senior level

Responsibilities
• Continuous monitoring of the trucks and driver’s movement
• Ensure planned and scheduled loads are picked up and monitor truck movement
• Monitor daily/monthly turnover of the trucks
• Monitor diesel consumption per truck and driving efficiency of drivers
• Liaise and de-brief with truck drivers
• Administer and control daily attendance register of drivers
• Liaise with clients to resolve issues and provide feedback on ETAs

Requirements
• Minimum grade 12
• 4-6 years related experience as a Fleet Controller in the road freight/logistics industry
• 2 years of route planning and scheduling experience
• 2 years of truck monitoring and driver management experience
• 2 years of client management and relationship management experience
