About the role

The General Registry - increasingly referred to by the more accurate description, the Isle of Man Courts and Tribunals Service - is responsible for the day to day administration of Courts and Tribunals in support of the Island’s statutorily independent permanent and part-time judiciary. It supports the judicial process in order that it may uphold the Rule of Law by operating an effective and independent Courts and Tribunals Service.

We are looking for a well-organised and enthusiastic Court Clerk to join our dedicated High Court Civil Summary and Staff of Government (Appeal) Division Team of the General Registry where you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate processing of new claims and applications as well as the efficient organisation and clerking of court proceedings, enabling court hearings to run smoothly and to provide administrative support to the relevant Judiciary, such as the Judge of Appeal and Second Deemster.
