Waste Truck Driver & Thrower

Temp to perm

Trenton, ON

$23.50 / hour

Tuesday - Friday, 10-12 hour shifts

must be able to work the occasional Monday*

Position Responsibilities
• Safely operate and drive different waste truck's.
• Perform pick ups and drop offs in safe and efficient manner. 50% driving and 50% throwing.
• Perform pre-trip and post inspections of vehicle systems and equipment such as tires, lights and breaks, etc.
• Plan your trip according to the weather conditions.
• Follow safety procedures for transporting materials.
• Maintain monthly log according to rules and regulations.
• Additional duties may be required Qualifications
• Valid DZ license required
• 3 years of commercial driving experience
• Clean drivers abstract, and clean criminal search
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Experience with Roll Off trucks and Front Load trucks & ASL Trucks is an asset
