Responsibilities

Reviewing & monitoring the timely completion of the accounts which was targeted to close as per schedule.
Determining the accrual of operational expenses when the site accounts is delayed due to late receiving of documents from site office.
Verifying the off spec claim by the mill to be allocated to the respective operating units to offset against the revenue.
Determine the potential of the staff, allocating the job to the right person and maintaining the standard company practices.
Monitoring the overtime claim by the staff without compromising the accuracy & dateline requirement
Monitoring & providing guidance to the operating units relating to company's standard procedures on accounting practices.
Reviewing the report prepared by the executive for submission to the group accountant in Kota Kinabalu and also distributing the report to the respective operating unit.
