Royston Lead are looking for a Maintenance engineer apprentice to complete a Level 3 machining technician apprenticeship. Royston Lead require a multi-skilled apprentice to grow with the company as it moves forward with the times and advancement in technologies. This is a stable business with extensive investment being a big part of the company’s strategy. Role & responsibilities: This will be an opportunity to gain experience maintaining rolling mills, burners, metal extrusion and forming, and includes: Planned maintenance and reactive maintenance along with continuous improvement work Mechanical repairs, to include welding and fabricating Electrical testing and repairs Use of electrical drawings to interpret faults The role is in a foundry environment and will need the candidate to be prepared to get their hands dirty.
