We are looking for a motivated PhD student to apply in the PhD program of the University of Alcalá (Madrid, Spain), working in the “Reactivity and Molecular Structure” group, under the supervision of Prof. Marco Marazzi.

Application deadline: May 31, 2024

Funding: University program promoting research excellence (FPU-EXCELENCIA).

Duration: 3 years, with possible extension to a 4th year.

Applicant Requirements

Average Bachelor grade ≥ 7.12/10

Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or related

Master of Science in Chemistry or related

It is possible to apply during the last year of Master studies.

Research Lines

Different research lines are available:
• Design of novel molecular solar thermal systems,
• Photoinduced hydrogen production,
• Protein/drug and nucleic acid/drug interactions
