Introduction

Our client, an international seed breeding company, has an exciting opportunity for a Production Specialist based in Oudtshoorn.

Responsible for the execution of seed production with the objective to have the right seeds delivered of the right quality and quantity, at the right time and right price with a high reliability and efficiency

Duties & Responsibilities
• Responsible for crop monitoring from stock seed to harvest to ensure seed production at agreed quality, quantity, price and time
• Responsible for operational management of the supplier through weekly and monthly reporting, review of crop results and crop management
• Advise and align on crop treatment to obtain maximum quality, planned quantity and at agreed price / costs
• Ensure all phytosanitary and quality protocols are followed and all certifications and administration performed timely
