Job Description

Role Summary
• Front-End Procurement Sr. Buyer for Aizu
• Act as a single point of contact at the site for assigned commodities for all strategic sourcing topics & issues with suppliers.

Key Relationship
• Reports to: Site Procurement Manager / Other global procurement teams as needed.
• Direct reports to: Site Procurement Manager
• Other Key relationship: Work with site internal department and sections and offshore (US, Asia, Europe sister fab and global procurement team).

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Analyze spend, conduct RFQs, lead price negotiations with suppliers on a regular basis. Aggressively negotiate terms and conditions in accordance with internal guidelines.
• Build a robust pipeline of savings opportunities with internal & external stakeholders by all possible means (price negotiation including bidding, change the suppliers, look for alternative sourcing, VA/VE...) to achieve annual targets.
