The Athabasca Rapids Swim Team Association is looking to expand its coaching personnel for the 2024/25 season and beyond. We offer both non-competitive and competitive opportunities to youth who range between the ages of 9 and 18.

The ideal candidate(s) will be involved in planning and facilitating practises, swim meets and team building activities. We are seeking applications from candidates as assistant and/ or head coach in training.

Duties

· Provide leadership, instruction, and positive motivation for swimmers during training.

· Deliver age-appropriate workouts focusing on technique, endurance, stroke development and drills.

· Cultivate healthy swimmer relationships and create a collaborative, respectful and safe team environment.

· Obtain and maintain certification for the assigned role.

· Follow club policies and procedures and ensure all participants do as well.
