Introduction

We are an established transport company. An opportunity has become available for a qualified Artisan (Diesel Mechanic) to join our team in Verulam. The successful candidate will be required, to inspect, maintain, and service a fleet of trucks and tankers and related auxiliary equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Maintenance of fleet: Carry out repairs and maintenance according to prescribed standards and checklists
• Preventative Maintenance: Carry out inspections on prescribed checklists and undertake repairs as required
• Attend to breakdowns and carry out the necessary repairs
• Ensure vehicles are (maintained) in line with legal requirements and company policies e. roadworthy etc.
• Maintain a safe and clean working place at all times
• Provide timely feedback to management with regard to breakdowns, repairs, services etc
• Perform ancillary duties to the above as determined by management on an ongoing basis
