Introduction

Murray & Roberts Cementation invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of General Engineering Supervisor to be placed in IvanPlats Platreef Mine, Mokopane Limpopo. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Site Engineer.
The company will provide remuneration and benefits relevant and appropriate to the position. Preference will be given to Historically Disadvantaged South African (HDSA) candidates.

Duties & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:
• Conduct equipment failure analysis
• Ensure daily supply of materials to subordinate teams
• Monitor equipment availability, utilization and performance
• Maintain ventilation and pumping
• Ensure sub- contractor competency
• Oversee contractors
• Ensure legal, safety and environmental procedure compliance
• Manage budget control and forecasting
