About The Role
• Draw up Customs Declarations
• In compliance with the regulations, accept and check the instructions, information, and documents that are required for performing the customs declaration
• Determine and assign a tariff classification, where permitted, based on regulations and customs procedures, to enable duties and taxes (the customs payment) to be calculated
• Confirm documentation required for the appropriate customs procedure
• Enter and submit the declaration in the internal and/or external system
• Obtain Export/Import customs declaration final validation by exporter/importer before filling to customs
• Provide all the information required by the customs authorities: act as an intermediary between the company and the customs authorities
• In the event of an inspection or physical check of goods, provide the necessary documents and declaration to the customs compiler
• Responsible for Data quality and data integrity pertaining to customs activities
