World Leading Machine Manufacturing company, seeking a Mechanical biased Engineer to work alongside their Project / PurchasingManager with the aim of taking on the managerial role at a future date. Their ideal candidate will have a recent mechanical engineering background and qualification with experience of 2D / 3D CAD and be looking for long term career progression.

Project /PurchasingManager Role

The successful Project / Purchasing Manager will report to the Engineering Director and be responsible for the following:
• Supplier Liaison / Negotiations
• Project control and assembly of BOM tailored to customer requirements.
• Planning of work in line with delivery schedules
• Managing the Spares Sales orders / purchasing / Sub contract manufacturing, expediting, receipt / goods Inwards to Packaging, Despatch and all associated documentation including arranging shipping through Couriers / freight forwarders etc.
