AltrinchamOur client is looking for a Purchasing Administrator to join their teamin the Altrincham office.
This role is office based, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm
What will you do day-to-day?
• Ordering materials from suppliers and arranging transportation to site
• Taking phone calls from Contracts Managers/site operatives in relation to orders
• Inputting orders into Sage
• Hiring plants for sites including monitoring and reporting of plants
• Conducting annual supplier reviews
• Price negotiation with suppliers
• Communicate supply chain delays and risks to key stakeholders
• Complaints handling
• Monitoring warehouse stock and replenishing if needed
• Invoice queries
• General administration
Requirements
• Construction purchasing experience
• Confident and customer focussed
• Excellent communication skills and ability to handle any complaints
• Strong administration skills including proficiency in Word andExcel
• Sage experience is highly desirable
