Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources, the Human Resources Coordinator facilitates and coordinates labour relations and employee services for the Corporation, principally in the areas of labour relations, employee relations, policy development, recruitment, training and development, health and safety, workplace safety insurance, and special projects.

This is a contract opportunity up to one year.

Responsibilities
• Performs the responsibilities of the position within the legislative and regulatory standards set out in the applicable Provincial and Municipal Acts. Performs the responsibilities of the position consistent with the Operational policies of the County of Renfrew.
• Sources, screens, interviews, recruits and selects applicants for vacant positions. Assists with decision making on selection of successful candidates. Develops interview questions, performs reference checks, and makes offers of employment.
