OTR TIRE TECHNICIAN – North BC & Yukon

We are currently looking for OTR Tire Technician to support Mount Milligan mine site located Northwest of Prince George, British Columbia. Tire Technician in the Mining Tire Group, you will be responsible for all aspects of tire and related service and repair for mining tires and adhering to Kal Tire’s work and safety standards. A key part of this role is setting the standard for service excellence within the industry and demonstrating the Kal Tire AIMS.

This opportunity will be a shift schedule of 14 days on – 14 days off . Bus schedule will be provided to the mine site.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Service Excellence
• Perform tire service on customer equipment, the Kal Tire way
• Assist mine maintenance staff as required.
• Conduct appropriate maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Maintain appropriate tire inspection and maintenance program.
