Duties & Responsibilities

Registered Nurse – Theatre Scrub Sister
• Deliver comprehensive and quality patient care to meet the health needs of patients in the unit.
• Deal with all service providers in a professional manner (e.g., Doctor’s orders).
• Supervision and monitoring of junior healthcare providers and support staff.
• Promote and carryout the image of the Hospital in a professional manner.
• Always maintain professional conduct in accordance with the hospital’s policies and procedures.
• Facilitating of a learning environment.
• Prevent, report, and manage medico legal risks, and hazards.
• Scrubbing for different disciplines.
• Render quality nursing which is cost effective.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Registered Nurse: Theatre Scrub Sister
• Registered with the South African Nursing Council as a Trained/Qualified Registered Nurse.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar environment.
