Reporting to the Executive Director the role of the BSC will be to take the lead to achieve the strategic objective of a positive behaviour support culture in Kindale with staff and managers that are competent and confident to respond to the needs of individuals with less complex behavioural concerns. To assist managers and staff with the identification of behavioural support needs as required. The BSC will provide training, consultation, guidance, and behavioural planning. The BSC position is required to work closely with team members to address the exhibited and underlying behavioural issues for each individual, and focus on ways to reduce issues that are highly charged and difficult to resolve.

Conduct all duties, responsibilities, and daily activities in accordance with current best practice and ethical guidelines. Adherence to Kindale and CARF policies and protocols.
