We at Kindred Spirit Elephant Sanctuary – Thailand & Foundation are looking for a Volunteer and Teaching Coordinator. This is a fulltime job based on our site in a Karen village in Mae Chaem district and the candidate will be living in a rural and quite isolated environment with basic living conditions (sometimes including cold bucket showers). This opportunity is open to all nationalities and non-Thais will be provided with the correct visa and work permit.

Applicants must have teaching experience (a TEFL or teaching degree will be an added bonus). Experience of leading groups of volunteers, working with minority communities, knowledge of Karen or Thai language and culture or experience of working with elephants, wildlife or conservation is also desirable.
