Job Description

Canadian Net Real Estate Investment Trust (“CNET” or the “REIT”) is looking for a full-time Property Accountant to join our growing team.

CNET is a Canadian open-ended commercial real estate investment trust listed on the TSX Venture Exchange. CNET focuses on the acquisition of high-quality commercial real estate leased on a triple net and management basis, a unique model in Canada.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will:

· Be responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping

· Be responsible for the month-end accounting process

· Assist with tenant and vendor invoicing

· Assist in the financial reporting process and preparation of other quarterly filings

· Ensure proper and timely filing for Sales Tax remittances

· Assist in year-end audit preparation

· Assist with partnership tax return preparation and filings

Our ideal candidate:

· 2+ years of experience in accounting; experience in real estate or other similar role is an asset
