Roast kitchen and bakery is hiring a pizza chef to join our kitchen team and make delicious pizzas based on both traditional and modern recipes

who knows how to make pizza from scratch using our sourdough starter.

Responsibilities.

Prepare and hand-stretch dough to create the perfect pizza base, ensuring consistency in size and thickness.

Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas in different styles, such as Neapolitan, using traditional techniques and modern equipment.

Monitor and adjust oven temperatures to ensure pizzas are cooked to perfection and have a crispy crust

Baking a wide variety of pizza doughs, including thin crust, thick crust and cheese-stuffed

Skills

Work experience as a Pizza Chef or similar role in a restaurant

Hands-on experience with preparing and baking pizza doughs

Familiarity with professional kitchen equipment and brick or stone oven

Understanding of food hygiene

Good time-management skills
