Background

We are recruiting an experienced Senior Archivist who will lead on managing and developing the archive collections of the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales.

For more than a century the Commission has been surveying, recording, and collecting information relating to the historic environment of Wales. Our national archive, the National Monuments Record of Wales (NMRW), holds almost 2 million photographs as well as thousands of drawings, historic maps, aerial photography, archaeological surveys, architectural reports and plans as well as digital surveys.
