Rural Arts is a registered charity based in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. Our mission is to deliver inspiring and inclusive creative opportunities that enrich lives and connect communities. We work across 3,500 square miles in North Yorkshire, aiming to bring creativity to every community.

Our main hub, The Courthouse, is North Yorkshire's only professionally-run cross-discipline arts centre. It offers a wide range of events and activities, including 70 professional performances per year in rural venues. Additionally, The Courthouse features an award-winning café, an artisan shop, and rooms available for hire. As an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation, Rural Arts is dedicated to promoting and supporting the arts.
