Job Description

Reporting under the EMS portfolio the EMT-P (Advanced Care Paramedic) will provide quality patient care within health care facilities in the Cypress Health Region. This position will assess and appropriately treat all patients, ensure respect, confidentiality and integrity and ensure that the standards and policies of the Cypress Health Region are employed at all times while working within a team environment. This position is responsible to prepare and submit reports, clean and restock working areas and ensure a complete and thorough knowledge of all equipment, supplies and medications.

Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications
• CMA accredited Pre-Hospital Care Program at the Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP/EMT-P) level
• CPR/AED Provider Certification
• Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at the ACP/EMT-P level
• Valid Class 4 drivers license
