JOB DESCRIPTION – JOB COACH

Job Title - Job CoachProgram - Employment and Day Services ProgramClassification - Front Line Staff Position, Level I or Level II (working with individuals that have specifically identified additional funding and support needs)
Reports to - Branch Manager/Team Leader

Job Overview

Staff members hired as job coaches in the Employment and Day Program will provide support, assistance and mentoring to adults with a range of developmental disabilities. This is to launch successful engagement in employment, volunteer and recreational activities.
Education/Experience
• Grade 12 or GED
• Some exposure to the rehabilitation field or directly related human services field preferred
• Demonstrated experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
• Demonstrated experience working in community based settings preferred
• Knowledge of Personal Attendant Care Requirements preferred

Certifications/Licenses/Other:
