Purpose of the position:

To advise on various legal issues and legal risks.

The responsibilities and duties of the successful candidate will include:
• the drafting/perusal/amending of a variety of contracts;
• research and the drafting of legal opinions for internal use which includes presentation to management;
• supporting the senior legal advisor with regards to, amongst others, attending consultations, reporting, and drafting opinions and reports;
• liaising with panel attorneys;
• controlling litigious matters involving the company, including criminal investigations;
• reporting to management as well as the drafting of reports;
• writing correspondence and letters of demand;
• drafting tender documents and attending tender meetings;
• assisting with company secretary functions;
• taking meeting minutes and associated duties.
