Our client in Halton Region is actively looking for an Accounts Payable Analyst to join their team.

Location: Halton Region, ON

Type: Temporary

Salary: $26-28/Hour

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform all project based accounting functions
• Ensure all invoicing is submitted accurately and on time
• Verify expense coding
• Manage project deadlines from a finance standpoint
• Maintain project budget and perform variance analysis
• Deal with both internal and external stakeholders
• Journal entries
• Assist with month end close
• Assist with audit based tasks as it relates to the project

Job Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years experience with accounting - preference will be given to candidates with project accounting experience
• Must have experience with power bi and power query
• Advanced level excel skills are a must
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
