Job Description

Wood is currently recruiting for a Shutdown Coordinator with extensive experience in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry to work on a temporary contract at site on our refinery project in Sweden. The project consists of revamping the existing unit including other necessary modifications to produce diesel out of a mixture of renewables.

The role will be for approximately 6 months on a fixed term contract basis.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for managing the field preparations for a major project shutdown and ensuring that the construction contractors are adequately prepared to successfully execute the shutdown
• Coordinate with the home office and site engineering teams to ensure that all of the shutdown work is adequately defined, and work packs are produced by the construction contractors
• Work with the planning team to ensure that the pre-shutdown and shutdown activities are adequately scheduled and that monitoring / control systems are in place
