Role Description

This is a contract role for a Software Testing Specialist. The Software Testing Specialist will be responsible for performing day-to-day tasks related to testing, including creating and executing test cases, managing test activities, and ensuring effective test execution. This is a hybrid role, based in Stellenbosch with the flexibility to work from home on some occasions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and compile comprehensive test plans, consolidating existing tests with a focus on automation.

• Conduct robustness and boundary testing to ensure the reliability and stability of the application.

• Setup automated pipelines using tools such as BitBucket and test conductor tools like Jenkins.

• Utilize Angular and Python expertise to enhance testing capabilities.

• Collaborate with the development team to identify and address software issues proactively.
