Reports to: Assigned Site Supervisor

General Definition of Work: Performs intermediate skilled trades work serving as a skilled trades worker in plumbing work in school, equipment, buildings and facilities, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the shop foreman.

Essential Functions
• Installs, rebuilds and maintains plumbing in school facilities; installs sinks, toilets, faucets, flush valves, etc.
• Installs, repairs and maintains complex and various plumbing and water systems; maintains septic systems
• Troubleshoots system failures; assesses and analyzes maintenance and repair needs
• Performs various other tasks associated with the plumbing trade/profession
• Prepares reports, timesheets, logs and records as required
• Completes work orders; assists maintenance technicians with various building, facility and grounds maintenance tasks
• Assists with snow removal and ice control
