Reporting to: Production Manager

Position Description

The Assistant Production manager will be responsible for assigning materials, equipment, manpower and overseeing quality control and costs. They will also be responsible for preparation of production schedules.

Roles and Responsibilities

Ø Assisting the Production Manager with administrative tasks like production schedules and timesheets.

Ø Appointing labor and purchasing stock toward the smooth running of the production process.

Ø Take part in Preparing cost estimates for materials, equipment, and taking part in hiring general workers.

Ø Overseeing quality control throughout the production process.

Ø Ensuring production deadlines are observed.

Ø Take part in Procuring and monitoring the efficiency of production equipment.

Ø Updating the Production Manager on the status of projects.
