Junior Accountant - Stellenbosch

Our client in Stellenbosch has an opportunity for a Junior Accountant to join their team and take care of the following tasks:

Responsibilities
• Preparation, collation and compilation of schedules and reports from source documentation.
• Reconciling bank statements on a monthly and annual basis using Xero Accounting.
• Processing of all supplier invoices
• Monthly supplier reconciliations
• Supplier correspondence
• Preparation of daily payments
• Preparation of all orders as requested by the operations team
• Debtors
• Weekly wage processing on payroll system
• Time and attendance related administration
• General office correspondence, and other administration tasks such as fielding phone calls, reception, and booking appointments with clients.
• Any other tasks deemed necessary.

Qualifications

Post matric Diploma or Degree in Financial Accounting

Exposure to Excel, Word, Microsoft Teams, Xero, and/or similar packages.
